A race against time

It may come as a surprise to learn that people were complaining about a lack of time long before modern communication methods arrived. An exhibition entitled "Tempo Tempo! A Race against Time" and covering 500 square meters investigates the phenomenon of making things faster. Using 250 exhibits and audio and film installations, some of them interactive, visitors discover how awareness of time has changed from the early modern period to the present and how the pace of life has become ever quicker.

Implementation

unit-design was responsible both for the exhibits and fully implementing the exhibition.
The exhibition was initially presented at the Museum for Communication in Frankfurt before moving on to Berlin and Dortmund. "Tempo Tempo!" was very well received among visitors and was the subject of plenty of media attention.
