Uniting architecture and nature

At the former German headquarters of reinsurer Swiss Re in Unterföhring, natural aspects play a key role. This is clear from both the "floating hedge" that surrounds the entire building and the park-like outdoor areas.

In designing the façade printing, unit-design took up the theme of plants and developed a plant-like structure that changes with certain parameters.
Printed flat on the glass façade, it filters the sunlight falling on it.
As a typographical element, it lends the glass a characteristic ornamental surface.
